               <------------------------------------------------------------------>
                                         HIS LEGACY!

-->"The world's most influential person in the history "-"The 100 most influential persons in history" writer:Michael H Heart , he wrote:

"My choice of Muhammad to lead the best of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels.
----------------
-->famous french historian,Histoire de la Turquie , have said:

"If greatness of purpose, smallness of means and astounding results are the three criteria of human genius, who could claim to compare any great man in modern history with Muhammad?"
-----------------
-->English author Thomas Carlyle in his 'Heroes and Hero Worship', in amazement wrote:

"How one man single handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades."
------------------
-->George Bernard Shaw:

"I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving the problems in a way that would bring the much needed peace and happiness. Europe is beginning to be enamored of the creed of Muhammad. In the next century it may go further in recognizing the utility of that creed in solving its problems." (A Collection of writing of some of the eminent scholars, 1935).
--------------------
-->Reverend R. Bosworth-Smith wrote in "Mohammed & Mohammedanism" in 1946:

"Head of the state as well as the Church, he was Caesar and Pope in one; but, he was pope without the pope's claims, and Caesar without the legions of Caesar, without a standing army, without a bodyguard, without a palace, without a fixed revenue. If ever any man had the right to say that he ruled by a Right Divine, it was Mohammad, for he had all the power without instruments and without its support. He cared not for dressing of power. The simplicity of his private life was in keeping with his public life."
-----------------
-->EWolfgang Goethe, perhaps the greatest European poet ever, wrote about Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

 He said:"He is a prophet and not a poet and therefore his Qur'an is to be seen as Divine Law and not as a book of a human being, made for education or entertainment.
------------------
-->"I wanted to know the best of one who holds today undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind... I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life." (Mahatma Ghandhi)

             <------------------------------------------------------------------>

"And We have sent you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): not but as a mercy for the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)."(21:107)

"Indeed in the Messenger of Allaah you have a excellent example (to follow) for him who hopes in (the meeting with) Allaah and the Last Day and remembers Allaah much." (Sura #33 ayah #21)

the importance of having both religious and worldly knowledge

Question: worldly education can make your child an engineer, a doctor, a teacher…etc...but How does the religious knowledge benefits your child??..we know that gaining religious knowledge may make a person successful in the hereafter! But what about this world? why should you give importance to the religious knowledge during the growth years of your child?..

Answer:

No doubt that the worldly knowledge is important as it leads to inventions, discoveries, exploring of new technologies which helps in making our daily life easier, providing us various facilities, and it helps in the overall development of the communities. But the religious knowledge is also very important!...because it is the religion which teaches us morals and character.

<The Absence of worldly knowledge>:

The people who just give importance to the religious knowledge and neglect the worldly education. then no matter how good the society with such people become in their religion,they will still be not able to become independent on the grounds of technologies, machinery, etc. then no matter how much natural resources they are blessed with, they wont be able to utilize it! and other countries will take advantage of it! They will become dependent on the other countries and communities for such advancements and technology and thereby will become backward in the world.

<The absence of religious knowledge>

Absence of religious knowledge has its own demerits, as It’s the religion which teaches us our rights and duties towards our parents, our relatives, our neighbors, our community. it’s the religion which teaches us to stand for truth! to fight for justice! to help, others and to stand and fight for their rights. And if a person avoid the religious knowledge, then he might not understand the importance of hereafter, over this world, he might just blindly run behind this world. , he may become selfish, and careless about others. he might sell his faith, through bribes, he might practice injustice, and he may corrupt the community and society. Also such a person no matter how successful he becomes in this world, will suffer huge loses in the hereafter!

<The misconception about backwardness>:

One thing we should understand that studying or having the religious knowledge doesn’t in any case bring backwardness. As its our roots, our tradition, and our identity,our guide to this life and knowing these things doesn’t in any case bring any backwardness. Rather its avoiding of worldly knowledge that bring backwardness, as discussed above, the problem is that we choose our most intelligent and best people for the world, making them doctors, engineer, etc and give the most weaker one, who are not that intelligent or capable of studying enough to be a doctor or an engineer, in the service of the Religion and thereby we chose the best for the world and the worst for the religion! Which has made the religion in the worst condition! We should understand this and should stick it in our mind, that for a Muslim, his religion is his roots, upon which he stands and if his roots are weak! Then in no time he will be uprooted! Here in this world, or definitely in the hereafter!

Although its important to acquire worldly knowledge, to be advances and develop but it doesn’t mean to leave your own culture! Your own Tradition! Your own Religion!..why aren’t we just adopting and learning the knowledge, the technology, the machinery from them? Why do we have to adopt their culture! A culture where there are maximum rates of Robbery! Murder! Rapes! Where kids feel modern and advanced by dancing on some music tunes in a club, drunk with a boyfriend or a girl friend? Where there are the maximum rates of teen age pregnancy! Where people inspite of being loved, cared and raised by their parents! They wish to live separate from them or even send them to an old age home?...do we really want our kids to be like that ? why do we feel that following our religion will make us backward? Just because some people or the media have said or thinks so?...should we really consider such people’s saying?...or it should be Allah whose’s saying should we consider?...

remember! this religion is send to honor you! Because it’s the religion through which Allah honored the Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) and His companions! it’s the religion of the Most Honored One! The most Glorified One! Then how can we ever get backward in following the religion of Allah??...

When a Muslim with strong Islamic roots gets the worldly education, then no matter at which place! At which position!at which rank he is working on! He will be of such character and morals! That he will be generous and kind towards his subordinates, helpful and supportive towards his colleges, respectful towards his seniors! he wont fear anyone except Allah! He wont fear to speak the truth! he wont spread his hands in front of any one for anything except Allah! he will be aware of his duties and rights given to him by his country and by his religion, he wont be afraid to use those rights and to stand and fight for the rights of others! His wealth will be a blessing for the whole community! no bribe will buy his faith! He will love others for the sake of Allah! he will maintain the family ties!he will honor his parents, his relatives, his neighbors, his fellow Muslims! He wont harm any one from his tongue and hand! He will even die defending and saving his brothers and sisters from oppression!

Then who will dare to oppress the brother of this Muslim? Who will dare to dishonor t he sister of his Muslim? Then who will dare to give bribe to this Muslim? Then who will dare to cause injustice in the community of such Muslims?
